NEOSID has added two more composite materials to the broad range of magnetically soft materials: PF1is and PFS3.
The advantages at a glance:
- Very low eddy current losses at frequencies of up to several MHz through isolation of the magnetic particles (see Fig. 2 in the PDF product sheet).
- High current-carrying capacity thanks to special composite material with “distributed air gap”
- Complex shapes and extra-thin wall thicknesses through special injection molding process
- Very close tolerances—even without mechanical reworking
